Former Employee – worked at Adecco as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – GE was an outstanding company at which to work. Great people, growth and challenging assignments.
Cons – As the employer, ADECCO Staffing was terrible. Sometimes I was paid a week or more late. They put you in the job and ignore you.
Advice to Senior Management – Somehow work into the hourly wage a week of vacation. I did not miss a single day of work during my contract because I could not afford to be off. However, I do think my performance would have been optimized with a day or two off here and there during the year.

Pros – Quick way to get back in the field. Opportunity to be hired as permanent employee for large Fortune 500 companies.
Cons – Pay is not competative, there arent enough temp to perm positions available. Take atleast 6 months to a year to be hired in by contract company.

Pros – Excellent place for development. Lots of exposure to other organizations, HR knowledge, and different recruitment processes
Cons – Terrible play and a glass ceiling. Hourly employees are not treated very well.
Advice to Senior Management – Become competitive by giving raises that are worthwhile. Develop your workforce internally.

Cons – Lots of people, which inevitably means a mix of great people and some mediocre people
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure compensation is aligned with expectations and that you're not losing talent to higher-paying competition.

Current Employee – been working at Adecco as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Options to transfer departments, branches or overseas. Rewards hard work and innovation, if you are willing to be patient. Reasonable pay. Good benefits, lots of community days, involvement things like that. Some discounts through larger clients.
Cons – Can be stressful so best to make sure you are comfortable with the work. Very long hours and dedication needed in order to stand out, but that is probably the same at most companies.
Advice to Senior Management – no advice, they know what they're doing.

Pros – International company with real possibilities for career development. Interesting job while communicating with people all over the world.
Cons – Sluggish process development as depending on many people with different locations all over the world.
Advice to Senior Management – More frequent monitoring of the personal performance.
