    Pros

    employee discounts on auto parts. that's it.

    Cons

    The hours and time of day you're in are never the same two weeks in a row so good luck trying to have a personal routine. Chain of command fights with each other at all levels of the totem pole. they are very argumentative about using your accrued vacation time. I worked there for four years, was turned down for a promotion twice, and each time it happened they brought in a new hire to do said sought after job and I would have to train them. do not work for them and do not shop with them or their affiliates(API/worldpac/carquest) as long as you have a single bone in your body that wishes well to the working man.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Leave and never come back. that goes for everyone down to the parts pros. the more that this company buys out in the market the less your six digit ID will matter to them.

    Cons

    Unrealistic sales expectation in order to not pay sales commissions as promised. Untrained or inexperienced store management leads to mis-handling of employee situations total disgust by employees snd an "I DON't GIVE A DAMN" attitude.....can't count on hours as they change with a whim and they constantly count on giving the employee the shaft.......Not a realistic place for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get som decent senior management to stop the constant turnover......take it on the chin if sales are slow and stop taking it out on the little guy.....he cannot help you advance sales.

    Cons

    Extremely high turnover makes it difficult to establish business. Good ole boy system. My experience was pretty bad . District leader partner was a workplace bully. Horrible place to work.

    Pros

    The only Pro is a company vehicle

    Cons

    Leadership is dishonest, arrogant, will through anybody under the bus to cover themselves from a write-up or firing.. meaning leadership has NO accountability because they're all buddies & cover each other.

    Leadership does not care if you have a life outside of work, they expect you to work 60-70 hr's a week & still complain you're not doing enough.

    You'll also be micro-managed & harassed beyond belief & that is not an exaggeration

    Company benefits are very poor as I got better healthcare rates on my own.

    Company is so cheap they make you pay for your own uniforms.

    HR back's leadership-up and does not investigate unless forced too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be honest, stop lying, stop abusing your power & making employee's underneath you take the blame resulting in employee's being written-up and or fired.

    Be accountable, do as you say through actions, not false promises / commitment's to your employee's and customer's.

    Team building with associates and developing personal relationships with commercial and retail customers.

    Cons

    Management bias. Lots and lots of hours Lots of metrics. Required a high level of commitment and physical effort. Constantly having to bail out poorer performing stores Uneven store standards , crazy inventory tracking, Things like tenure and dedication didn't count for much. Better make you numbers or you won't be there very long

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Can't say it out loud ...not even on the internet . These guys aren't very good at listening. Advice to all others would be to look elsewhere. Whoever you are, no matter what at your qualifications may be, you deserve a better opportunity than the one offered by this company

    Pros

    It took me 1 year to become full time. Been promoted 3 times in 5 years of service.

    Cons

    Upper management sucks. They have no regard for you and your family and your personal goals. All that matters is sell more, sell more, and sell more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of the stupid ignite and stop trying to force team members to be so pushy to sell products. Treat your employees all the same and allow team members who have families the chance to spend it with them instead of making them drive past 4 or 5 other stores and travel over an hour 1 way to make the company money. The team members arent making money this way and they ARE NOT HAPPY!!!

    Pros

    Weekends Off, two 15 min breaks and you get lunch break. Holidays off, 2 weeks paid vacation after 60 days.

    Cons

    To many cliques in the office, No advancement unless a manager goes to jail(which has happen here, sorry Randy) or quits but usually current management promotes or hire friends to be managers, never get a wage review so no pay increase, you feel like an E-Slave all day while managers walk around the office and have fun all day. Very secretive higher ups so you have no real feedback to tell shops while you call them. Have those typical people in office that act like middle schooler because deep down this is the best job they will ever get so they cope with acting like kids all day. TYPICAL CALL CENTER JOB. This job would be good for 18-22 year olds just to get experience in corp America. I am here because I can't find a better job in Vegas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Have yearly wage reviews with your employees, keep everyone on the same page, act like you care more by doing weekly spiffs to keep employees motivated. Reward good employees instead of changing structures for getting a bonus. You shouldn't have to make 2 hours of talk time for a bonus when were a mainly outbound Call/Slave Center. Instead of only giving surveys to your employees do it for your inexperienced managers that sit at a desk and walk around all day. God I can not wait to find a better job and watch the turnover here go crazy.

    Fun coworkers and meet new people.

    Cons

    Pay is OK if you live at home and don't pay rent. The harest workers get treated like crap as other employees can sit around and do nothing and nothing said to them. This is a part time job. Management only cares about numbers and not the employees making the numbers. Raises are promised but never received. Bounuses never happen as corporate makes unattainable goals. 20% off of parts is nothing when you see how much commercial clients get off some get parts at or below cost.

    Pay the workers filling your pocket more.

    I can't think of any pro's. They can be flexible in hours for those in school.

    Cons

    The company sets unrealistic sales goals, has low pay barely above min-wage, and makes employees complete busy work and unneeded tasks. Corp Upper Management micromanages every little detail. Horrible moral issues. Huge turn over.

    Less upper management. Allow store managers make more choices at the store level.
