    Pros

Great people, Great training, ability to impact your earnings, great systems, great opportunity for career advancement and great processes.

    Cons

Pay is lower than other companies, company culture is a little unprofessional. Limited career potential if not in sales. Potential for success is highly tied to account manager. POLITICS

    Advice to Management

Start paying your best recruiting talent better or you will continue to lose them to the comp.

    Pros

Decent company to work for, Better than average jobs compared to other staffing services I've used. Above average pay for temp jobs.

    Cons

They have an extended "Temp" period to fulfill for some employers before you get hired on. Look closely at their medical benefits before you accept them.

    Advice to Management

Hire recruiters that have actually "WORKED" for a living, instead of these "BOOK SMART" kids that don't know a screwdriver from a broom handle.

    Pros

Support from management and peers; Clear cut metrics; Different Career Paths; Leaders believe in a culturally diverse and promote an inclusive environment; uncapped commission

    Cons

    must be available to your contractors and clients almost 24/7; long work hours;

    Advice to Management

Could pay more attention to the reason for attrition rather than side with the managers.

    Pros

Tons of development and a great working atmosphere. You are given a great opportunity if willing to work hard for it.

    Cons

Not a whole lot of downside. Yes, you put in a lot of hours but this should expected with any commission based job that has the upside that Aerotek has.

    Advice to Management

Honestly management does a great job. They encourage advancement, they create a competitive work environment and they put a ton of time into development.

    Pros

Aerotek cares about the employees. Family is important In the company culture. Completely up front during the hiring process. Several offices nationwide. Direct deposit is available and preferred.

    Cons

Little to no room for salary negotiations. Difficult to change contracts, even for better opportunity they advertise. Lousy health insurance for the cost. Network of 'partners' increased amount of junk mail from insurance companies and financial services shortly after hire.

    Advice to Management

simplify the process of change. Improve the health insurance... $5000 deductible is horrible for $80 a week. Bus pass subsidy would be a great perk.

    Pros

Good benefits, somewhat competitive pay, team like atmosphere, management is willing to work with you on scheduling your hours. Great place to learn customer service skills and excel. Great core values within the company.

    Cons

Have to be able to multitask at a high level. In order to be promoted you more then likely need to be in the "clique". Some people promoted to supervisors just to fill a spot rather then their capabilities leaving you in a position of knowing more then your boss. Tend to put more work on your plate then time allows you but your still blamed if your not in your goals. Expected to be at every single work event which is almost weekly. Very young company, older people(30's and up) are quite rare there. Really depends on the Assistant Controller you have on your team on the type of experience you'll have there. Too many meaningless meetings that take up your time. My advice is to speak your mind on any major issues you have but stay out of the inter office drama.

    Advice to Management

Executives should be more "in the know" of the major issues within the BOA role. Extremely high turnover rate because of certain managers making the job miserable. People often leave because pay is too low compared to the competitors and having assistant controllers that are either not involved enough with what's going on within the teams or not appreciating people that are actually in their goals every quarter. You only receive any real recognition if your favored by your AC for reasons that have nothing to do with your actual work. My supervisor(BOS) did almost nothing at all except socialize and if you needed answers to questions you were treated very rudely and made to feel as if you were bothering them. Also people get more recognition for bringing in past due/old balances rather then keeping your accounts running well and operating correctly to begin with.

    Pros

For the most part, good coworkers, and when you have hours, they are usually 36-40 per week.

    Cons

The contract has a set length limit, after which, a mandatory 8-week break follows. Even when that 8 weeks is up, a contract renewal is not guaranteed.

    Advice to Management

Having more staff reviews, as well as taking peer reviews, would ensure a more comfortable work experience.

    Pros

    Assignments were good
    Salary was great
Recruiters were always available and did check on me to see if I was comfortable or had issues while on assignments.

    Cons

Very few opportunities in my career field in my area with this agency. After I completed my last assignment, silence. Was disappointed.
