The people were the best part of the experience. All of the work is based on whatever contract that you support.

    Functional Analyst (Former Employee)
    Tempe, AZ

ProsCurrently the best reasons to work there is location and that the fact that the dress code has gone from business casual to casual.

ConsThe downsides is that there are not that many positions in which one can aspire to. You're either management or a peon.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe best advice I can give is to say stop manipulating policies to fit your needs.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Better than being on unemployment benefits

    Vice President (Former Employee)
    Germantown, MD

ProsNice people on the front lines. Many competent.

ConsConstantly shifting priorities prevent strategy. Paralysis in management. Long intervals between raises. Annual unpaid furlough. General inflexibility and one-size-fits-all policies.

Advice to Senior ManagementRead Stephen M. R. Covey's "Speed of Trust" and work to change core things that matter. Stop bowing to Wall Street and execute a long-term strategy.

ProsGreat place for growth started as a Call Center Rep, then moved to a supervisor position. Always expanding.

ConsAttrition was high. ACS lost a lot of good employees due to not recognizing them for their successes.

Pros-They allow overtime and once you are out of training you can make a lot of money.
-Getting bonuses are easy, all you have to do is upsell.
-After being employed with the company for 6 months or a year (one of the two) you can transfer to any ACS world wide, as long as a position is open.

Cons-It is an unorganized company to work for. If you are looking for structure and routine, this is not the job for you.
    -Only 30 minute lunches.
-Training pay could be higher than $9 to $9.50/hr

    Advice to Senior ManagementNone.
