    Pros

Leave at noon on Fridays, downtown location (but that is changing soon),

    Cons

Pay is low compared to other aircraft companies in the area, they tend to promote people that are in their "circle" rather than the best people for the job. Minorities seem to be missing from leadership positions, even when better qualified. Wichita location seems to be winding down. not sure about longevity with company.

    Advice to Management

Change management up a bit. There are several under-qualified individuals in leadership positions. Watch the treatment of minorities and women...the engineers (again in management roles) need to move on into the 21st century in regard to minorities in the workplace (a lot of racist remarks were overheard while I was there). A hostile work environment if you are minority. Needs a house cleaning at upper levels and training!!

    Pros

Even though is a contractor, been here over 3 years. They don't layoff contractors often, work kind of stable.

    Cons

I feels like live under dictatorship environment. Only one way communication in my dept, not sure others dept.

    Advice to Management

Should consider convert well performed contractors to perm to add an asset to the company instead watching them walking out the door, it's company huge lost!

    Pros

Checks were on time...and that's about it!!!!

    Cons

No structure, no leadership, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. HR is so screwed up that it's ridiculous!!!! Who is running the show?!?!?!?! Pay for blue collar workers is below industry standard and they expect people to choke it down with a smile on their face!!!!

We need a union to protect us but Airbus FAL is trying to convince us that we don't need one. They are more worried about their bonuses than fair pay for the people who actually produce the airplanes!

    Advice to Management

Clean out your corporate HR department, get some real leadership in place and pay fair wages. P.S...the union is coming!!!!!

    Pros

No pressure. Decent pay. Job security.Plus you can build a collection of desk models of helicopters and airplanes.

    Cons

When I worked there, there was no commitment, and hence no support, for building the U.S. business outside of commercial airliners. All lip service. I hear from my former colleagues that the change in CEO didn't change things.

    Advice to Management

Decide whether you are serious about pursuing sales in the U.S. defense market. If so, make real investments. Otherwise, stop pretending that it is something the firm wants to do.

    Pros

They had some cool products at one time

    Cons

They do not care about their employees...HR runs the show here...for the company NOT the staff. Any vision the R&D management team had is gone.

    Advice to Management

Clear out the antiquated "everybody is afraid of HR" mentality and breath some new ideas into this organization. Your employees don't owe you anything more than 40 hours a week. ..treat them like garbage and you'll get garbage.

    Pros

The salary was decent there I suppose.

    Cons

Management has no clue. They have laid off and sold off most all assets and infrastructure with a reorganization plan to peruse business that they have no experience or expertise. Although some have been there for quite sometime, senior level management is the most under experienced technically and business of any company I have ever worked for.... good luck........

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to cover your own ass and back stabbing others....

    Pros

As you can see they change their name and piggyback on their other divisions work, very creative

    Cons

Bad management, work to recent quarters number and expect layoffs. Unethical management. Benefits below average.

    Advice to Management

You can run and hide Cassidian but your still the same bad company.

    Pros

Worthy cause. Ethical & hard-working employees.

    Cons

Current management is driving the company into the ground. Jack would not be happy about what has happened to his loyal employees and about the impact on the customers.

    Advice to Management

The employees know when management cares (about them, product quality, and customers) and when they don't. If you can't care, go management another company!

    Pros

Great product. Good people. Non management still care. Casual attire. Flexible hours. Benefits are just okay. Not much else to add to this.

    Cons

CEO clueless. Upper management clueless. HR useless. Low morale. Internal conflicts. Too much politics and games. No long term vision. Only temporary fixes. No direction. No real leadership.

    Advice to Management

No point. Useless to try. Falls on deaf ears.

    Pros

The pay and benefits are the only pros. If you can get past dreading to come to work.

    Cons

If you take the amount of hours they expect you to work and divide that into your salary, the pay isn't that great.

    Advice to Management

Quit telling people that they have to put up with upper management's condescending attitude. Morale can be torn down quicker than it will take to build it back up.
