    Cons

No real room for progression. commission is rubbish I ernt less than 3000 a year in commission and I been top seller for months

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have some highly educated people ammongs your staff. Give them more responsibility so they feel like they are contributing more to the company. Acknowledge when people are doing well instead of focusing on their mistakes.

I worked at Allianz full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Friendly people. Excellent support for professional qualifications. Business is growing and respected in the Insurance market. Good benefits package. Great charity supporters.

    Cons

Work life balance suffers enormously as you are promoted.. Heavy reliance on a few experts means there are huge bottle necks. Providing opportunities for the graduate intake limits career choices for others and often also often results in inexperienced managers who require huge support from their teams which goes unrecognised as they need to hide that others are doing their job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the bonus system. Stop relying on external systems that do not deliver what you need, require huge investment to change anything, cause rework and frustrate the employees. Really look at your people, a lot of talent is unrecognised.

I have been working at Allianz full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The company is a startup in Bucharest and by the time i left they only had 6 moths going, in which they mannaged to grow from 4 employees to about 20, with plans to go to 50 by the end of the year. They pay prettty welll and there are plenty of oportunitiess for advancement.

    Cons

This is still an outsorcing business, and you will be a gear in the giant cog that is Allianz. If you like detail work and working with office all day you will fit in. If not, you will find the work boring and without satisfaction. The woking hours can be long and you will get a hard time form some of the management and the clients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put more care into your human resourcess, especially the ones that are outsorced (not in Munich) Motivate and develop a relationship with them, they are not just some man hours to be used when needed.

    Pros

Being a part of a company like Allianz is a good experience. Awesome experience if interested in cultural activities, arts and Sports.

    Cons

The management is taking out many advantages of being a global company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more for employee benefit than on branding.

I worked at Allianz as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Solid pay, nice colleagues, normal working hours, gets you accustomed to high pressure multitasking situations and dealing with lots of problems at the same time

    Cons

Incredible amounts of work when server chrashes(under staffing), occasional unprofessional employes calling for issue they should have learned working (which you as a student will not know)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your low level salesmen and saleswomen better in the usage of the software, a lot of time is lost explaining basic issues to them, this time can be more usefully used in other places.

Former Employee - CSA - Level I in Thiruvananthapuram (India)

I worked at Allianz full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The money was good. Decent salary plus very good variable pay which is up to you to make. Realistic targets which could be achieved with a reasonable effort. A fun place to work with.

    Cons

I felt that the growth cycle from a CSA level1 to the Assistant Manager post is very long.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Can stand up to their British bosses a bit more in terms of being realistic in their expectation rather than to just nod for everything and then think of how to get the thing done which they nodded for.
