    Pros

Professional environment with good pay and manageable hours.comes with benefits that can turn into a career

    Cons

Too many rules that contradict itself within its organization no excuses and you better not mess up even though the training is a lot to take in within week. Some of the people training you will forget to explain something then you will be blamed for their mistake. There is no leniency. Depending on the sight the have no remorse for mess ups

    Advice to Management

Keep the professionalism up but be more understanding towards your employees

    Pros

ABSS is a very large security sub-contractor, and as such they have many opportunities for employment. I have been able to climb through the ranks to become a manager after starting as a Supervisor. I cannot thank them enough for that.

    Cons

Since they are so large, a lot of the policies and training that they implement feel like they are there just to be added to our company's list of achievements. We are in training magazines all the time, but do the policies and procedures add to the client's actual product? I believe that ability lies in the hands of the actual trainers and managers at the site level.

    Advice to Management

Please keep in mind that our employees and middle management are the reason that all of the high-paid corporate types have jobs. Implement more common sense procedures. And please try to evaluate the feasibility real-world effects of a procedure before implementing it.
