I have been working at Allstate full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Managers are friendly. Work life balance ok

    Cons

Pay is bad compared to other insurance companies. Changed bonus structure so bad that barely any one gets bonus. Everyone has to work saturdays. Other comps give 28 days PTO Nd benefits day 1. Here you get 12 days pto and benefits after 90 days to a year

I have been working at Allstate full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Salary, training and people who work there are supportive and friendly. Great place to go for a job without a degree and sales experience, or for someone fresh out of college.

    Cons

They like to talk about how many opportunities there are to move up or around in the company, but you must be known and in the back pocket of some managers in order to do so. (Kissing butt is a good quality). The hours are terrible mostly 2nd shift and always working weekends. Their attendance policy is stricter than any company I've ever worked for. It sucks being hired near the holidays as well with little to no PTO given for new employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think about your employees lives. There isn't any balance for life/work. Make more opportunities for better shifts.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
