    Pros

    1. Salary is paid on time.

    2. SME's are very sharp and good with their work.

    3. Plenty of opportunity to gain knowledge about the process you are in, whether it's mortgage, finance or IT.

    Cons

    1. After the first two to three months, the work load becomes unmanageable. The only way one can finish a day's work is by opting out of taking any breaks. And by coming to log in on Saturdays as well. [They do pay extra for logging in on Saturdays.]

    2. As it is all work and no play, one gets bored to death pretty fast. The only way to continue working is by killing all creativity within you and just slogging like a zombie.

    3. If you are the kind of person that loves a slog all night and gain nothing at the end of 5 to 10 years of service, then this is most certainly the right job for you.

    Advice to Management

    1. Hire more closers in REO, so that the Closing Coordinators don't have to face the wrath of the clients.

    2. Streamline the work load, so that the employees can at least have their dinner break.

    3. If the workplace at Altisource, Vashi is going to remain as lifeless, boring and stiff upper lip, then attrition is going to be the logical fallout.

    4. Don't think of the employees as company property. True, the salary is paid on time, true there are a lot of things that are good about the company. But that doesn't mean that everyone should be suffocated with work.
