    - excellent benefits for FT employees
    - you get to work with people from all over the world, great multicultural enviroment

Challenging, lots of travel, international flavor

Consulting Manager (Current Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsProject experience is very broad - you get to wear many hats - lots of opportunity to shine, and lots of opportunity to get noticed

ConsLong, and even longer hours, working nights and weekends. You better be prepared to work on Sundays to compensate for Israel time zones

Advice to Senior ManagementLeadership does a decent job of informing staff - company is run out of Israel so be prepared for multiple cultures (not a bad thing)

    Nice place to work

Implementation Manager (Current Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsI have been with Amdocs for since 2001 and it is a nice place to work. I will recommend it to others.

ConsAmdocs caters primarily to telecom providers throughout the world and it is a very niche area. Downside is that if you stay here for too long then your potential job market may be limited (This may even be a positive factor)

Advice to Senior ManagementThere is a desire by employees that the senior leadership within each division (not Amdocs executive leadership) should be more forthcoming and proactive with employee communications.

    Great people, great location

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsThe people are great -- competent and friendly. Good engineering-driven culture and practices. People always trying to make better software. A fun place to be if you're self-motivating. Great location and views from the office.

ConsThe Seattle office may be the best part of Amdocs, and it's hard to tell if the larger organization knows and understands what we do well. Sometimes it feels unstable, like the good times won't last.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive managers more independence to set practices and spend budgets as they see fit, instead of trying to force sameness from the top.

    Working for Amdocs

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Dallas, TX

ProsDiverse culture. Company offers good salaries (on surface - see cons). Benefits are very good. Sick time policy is very generous - especially for someone with kids.

Cons60 to 70 hour work weeks - your nice salary is not as nice when you work twice as many hours. Life/work balance non-existent. Sometimes there a bit of a language barrier due to working with people from many areas of the world.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove life/work balance. Be loyal to employees that have been loyal to you.
