    Pros

A very big international company, a lot of exciting opportunities. Very different positions, a lot of managerial positions and project management positions.

    Cons

Not very much to do for a software developers. A lot of jobs are maintenance or project management. Most of software development performed in India. It's not a high tech company it's a low tech company.

    Advice to Management

Amdocs needs to review it's long term strategies and more invest in prospective software products which will bring it to the list of top software development companies in the world. And not only in the billing area.

    Pros

Young and energetic colleagues, fun atmosphere, lot of events.

    Cons

A lot of pressure, politics, less skilled crowd. Although there are few good Team Leads, yet Group Leads (GLs) are just GL for nameshake, many of them don't know to manage things. Whatever pressure they have, they just pass it to their reportees, and want to get work done with the blink of eye.

    Advice to Management

Get the root cause of problems, the in-time solution of problems is only quick fix, that will go away. Try to retain good people at site, it's already a small site, people don't wanna come, and on top of that you are just letting your hard workers go, so what you left with is just bunch of less skilled workforce, whom you have to promote anyway. And they are making the environment bad, because they don't know how to handle things in efficient manner without making anyone puzzled.
