Pros
  • The overtime hours, depending on the route, can be substantial and add a tidy sum to the paycheck (in 4 reviews)

Cons
  • No room for advancement, pay isn't that great and the "raise" they give you every year is a joke - 1-3%, yeah way to keep up with that cost of living (in 3 reviews)

  • Although they are the number 1 propane company in the US the pay is low compared to the competition (in 4 reviews)

    Pros

    There is a lot of work to do at all times. You experience all aspects of the department and have the freedom to work and learn on your own.

    A lot of the training is brief and you are left to learn on your own. Trial and error is a big key

    Very safety oriented strives for "World class Safety. Human recourses and managers are very accessible and approachable. They have a good sense of pride in their employees

    The Communication is lacking, they need to bring technology to their operation.

    Pros

    A lot of outdoor work and there is always something to do to keep busy. I was last employed there in 2008.

    Cons

    Summer tends to be slow at times

    Pros

    Nationwide company. Stability. When you go to corporate office CEO very pleasent and approachable. Employees tenure with company.

    Cons

    During winter times harder to take days off. Understandable due to nature of businesses.
