Current Employee – been working at America's First Federal Credit Union

Pros – The benefits are great. You get medical, dental and vision coverage at a great price. You also get 401k matches up to 5%.

Cons – There is not a lot of room for advancement and no blueprint towards getting where you want to go. You are expected to perform above average while receiving below average pay.

Advice to Senior Management – Be consistent and get rid of the politics. Appreciate an employee based off the facts and not personal opinions. Pay better...

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at America's First Federal Credit Union

Pros – Management is fair. Educational program to complete a BS degree with tuition payed by company. Stable and not cutting jobs. Annual bonus if company wide goals are met.

Cons – There are limited avenues for advancement since the company is pretty small. Tellers do seem to be given preferance. Pay is low, banks are not known for being big paying companies, but this is a credit union so expect to make 20% less then a similar sized bank.

Advice to Senior Management – Create inventive programs for all departments, not just the frontline people. It really seems that they are the only ones who are considered when it comes to any programs or giveaways.
