If you are joining BT beware you work for 12 hrs a day - 6 days a week

Solutions Analyst (Current Employee) Chesterbrook, PA

ProsGood benefits , good tea vending machine

ConsBT has horrible hours, most of the middle management has zero management experience. Please don't join SAP team, it sucks. They are blood sucker and will make you work like slaves.

    Poor management

Compliance (Former Employee) Valley Forge, PA

ProsProud pre-merger. Fairly relaxed atmosphere. No accountability.

ConsOld boys network. Work your tail off and no appreciation. This company will ware you down. Promote bullies. No advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou've lost great employees. If you take care of your employees they will work harder then they already do.

Love my job, not the people ( management ). Negative and low morale among associates. No thorough training on new tasks.

Warehouse Associate (Current Employee) Honolulu, HI

ProsIt pays my bills. Learning new functions of the business, being challenged with the tasks at hand.

ConsIt is like the Gestapo. Dictation by intimidation. Employees are replaceable. Sometimes good performance review, no compensation. Low wages.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe your own person. Don't be coerced into making decisions to better morale . Be a little more generous with raises.

Worked hard but no one appreciated it

Financial Analyst (Former Employee) Valley Forge, PA

ProsThe health benefits are very good and the cost was very reasonable.
Employees were hard working and easy to get along with.

ConsYou are paid to show up every day. Advancement opportunities for seasoned professionals was non-existent. I did not see any mentoring by middle management.

Advice to Senior ManagementYour employees are intelligent and hard working. Offer them some ideas for improving their skill set so they can advance.

    Business Transformation in progress

    Analyst (Current Employee) Chesterbrook, PA

ProsIf not int he BT program your hours are cake, in by 9, out by 4:30. Benefits are so so. Some managers are good people.

ConsBT leadership faultering. Project late and 30 million over budget. SAP implementation gone bad. HR laying off people to the tune of 1 or 2 a week for last 8 weeks, heading to and from each department.

Advice to Senior ManagementStart making decisions that actually make sense. stop acting as if every little thign were a fire drill. Get a hold of your huge cast of consultants that avg $350 an hour bill rate...

Not what they make it seem

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) San Bruno, CA

ProsGood benefits, a culture that allows employees to work together and be a team, fantastic coworkers who help to make the environment easier to work in

ConsNo compentency skills in upper management, lack of support and praise when someone does something well, horrible compensation for the amount of work expected, show very little appreciation for their employees, expects more work from less people and refuses to hire replacements for those who left

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease learn to appreciate your teams. We are not trained monkeys yet that is how I feel everytime I speak to my manager. I barely get thank yous and rarely get rewarded for my continued hard work. I think if you show some apprciation every once and a while that the company morale would be much higher.

    Prejudice abounds

Account Manager Health Systems (Former Employee) Thorofare, NJ

ProsThe comraderie between sales associates was exceptional. Consultative sales in the healthcare industry was challenging and fun.

ConsSales associates were not rewarded based on their true accomplishments. There was much prejudice within the sales management team. There was a system for sales associated to review their standings; however, this was taken away when some of the top performers were not being rewarded accordingly. Lies are prevalent within management.

Advice to Senior ManagementEvaluate sales management's procedures for reviewing others amd the validity of them.

    Short and not sweet

Senior Customer Liaison (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsI had a great boss who knew what she was going and didnt micromanage. The peers were good, and I was able to work from home so had a lot of flexibility

ConsSenior Management had no idea what they were doing. The company sold its customers to a competitor and sold out all of its employees

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Disappointing, not challenging and frustrating

Nurse Support Specialist (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

Prosbenefits: RRSP, insurance, 3 weeks vacations, 5 sick days, most holidays off

Conseverybody works next to each other without interacting, the atmosphere is sucking the life out of good people. Poor management. no growing opportunity, your boss won't let you leave internally until you have trained your replacement. job has nothing to do with the job I applied on and was explain during the hiring process. My manager told me they hire nurse only to flash you title to client saying they have nurse on staff but the job is basically being a admin, reimbursement agent in a call center. No critical thinking or clinical judgement needed. There is a lot of non sense to please client's needs. if you are looking for a job not challenging and rest for your brain this is it.

Advice to Senior ManagementEvaluate your managers, some of them are really bad leaders, cutting corners, micromanaging on trivial issues (like having a clean inbox) and not leading when needed.
