    Pros

The comraderie between sales associates was exceptional. Consultative sales in the healthcare industry was challenging and fun.

    Cons

Sales associates were not rewarded based on their true accomplishments. There was much prejudice within the sales management team. There was a system for sales associated to review their standings; however, this was taken away when some of the top performers were not being rewarded accordingly. Lies are prevalent within management.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate sales management's procedures for reviewing others amd the validity of them.

    Pros

Good benefits, a culture that allows employees to work together and be a team, fantastic coworkers who help to make the environment easier to work in

    Cons

No compentency skills in upper management, lack of support and praise when someone does something well, horrible compensation for the amount of work expected, show very little appreciation for their employees, expects more work from less people and refuses to hire replacements for those who left

    Advice to Management

Please learn to appreciate your teams. We are not trained monkeys yet that is how I feel everytime I speak to my manager. I barely get thank yous and rarely get rewarded for my continued hard work. I think if you show some apprciation every once and a while that the company morale would be much higher.

    Pros

If not int he BT program your hours are cake, in by 9, out by 4:30. Benefits are so so. Some managers are good people.

    Cons

BT leadership faultering. Project late and 30 million over budget. SAP implementation gone bad. HR laying off people to the tune of 1 or 2 a week for last 8 weeks, heading to and from each department.

    Advice to Management

Start making decisions that actually make sense. stop acting as if every little thign were a fire drill. Get a hold of your huge cast of consultants that avg $350 an hour bill rate...

    Pros

The health benefits are very good and the cost was very reasonable. Employees were hard working and easy to get along with.

    Cons

You are paid to show up every day. Advancement opportunities for seasoned professionals was non-existent. I did not see any mentoring by middle management.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are intelligent and hard working. Offer them some ideas for improving their skill set so they can advance.

  6. Love my job, not the people ( management ). Negative and low morale among associates. No thorough training on new tasks.

    Pros

It pays my bills. Learning new functions of the business, being challenged with the tasks at hand.

    Cons

It is like the Gestapo. Dictation by intimidation. Employees are replaceable. Sometimes good performance review, no compensation. Low wages.

    Advice to Management

Be your own person. Don't be coerced into making decisions to better morale . Be a little more generous with raises.

    Pros

Proud pre-merger. Fairly relaxed atmosphere. No accountability.

    Cons

Old boys network. Work your tail off and no appreciation. This company will ware you down. Promote bullies. No advancement.

    Advice to Management

You've lost great employees. If you take care of your employees they will work harder then they already do.

    Cons

BT has horrible hours, most of the middle management has zero management experience. Please don't join SAP team, it sucks. They are blood sucker and will make you work like slaves.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

great benefits and they are more focused on feeding you or hosting a catering party as a reward for performance.

    Cons

Manegement are too friendly with select individuals. Cannot trust anyone in there when problems arise. Not HR or upper management. They promote negative behaviors. Very racist environment. No need to look for advancement if they dont like you. Professional educated people they tend to dispise. Worked for the company for over 7 years & posess a degree and still can't advance? Managers lack communication. Business makes billions but performance time they are skimpy and say that due to recession they have to cut back. Work you like a dog!

    Advice to Management

End the friendships that are blatenly obvious. Value ALL employees based on performances not because they watch your kids and buy you gifts. Work on interpersonal skills and if you get rid of employees/managers that bullies others around the place would be a great palce. I wish the CEO could go undercover to see what really goes on. Possibly run an audit on the jobs that have been passed by educated internal employees who are trying hard to make it.

    Pros

Workplace was attractive, safe and clean.

    Cons

A sterile, cold environment. My department turned over 100% in a year. There was much buzz in the company about their gross profit - which was grand. Net profit? Not so much - razor thin.

    Pros

    Good benefits, controlled climate. location

    Cons

I am sure this is the case at most large companies, but there was rampant favoritism. Last minute notification of manditory overtime. Problems brought to management usually not rectified. No merit raises. No opportunities to advance. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

Treat all associates equally. I am not against overtime, but better planning, better management (ie receive product before stocking etc.) would eleviate this problem.
