    Pros

Good pay nice work environment. A great opportunity to learn as much as you want is you go and get it.

    Cons

Too many people work from home making it hard to get in touch with them. Many people complain about current environment and they want it to be lie the old days.

    Advice to Management

You went to far cutting back. You took away the little things for people below Executive Director which improves moral, yet the people at the ED level and above still get all the perks.

    Pros

Great information systems, excellent benefits, a lot of highly intelligent people, you are challenged all the time

    Cons

A lot of people with no value added, Social group where only the blessed ones are promoted

    Advice to Management

The ones that are all the time in your office are not necessary the Top Performers, you need to recognize with bonus or promotions the ones that are making a change

    Pros

There are lots of changes at Amgen which is an exiciting time. There are many process improvements going on aimed at making Amgen leaner and more efficient. This is the first over-haul at making Amgen the front runner to change instead of catching up with other pharma companies. The most successful employees are those invested at adapting to the changes instead of looking at the past. Those that are ready to learn and contribute to out of the box thinking are the most successful and rewarded. Pay is competitive, work-life balance reasonable.

    Cons

Large company and small group of leaders are at the forefront, challenging to ensure visibility with management. Bonuses and RSU have declined over years, even for top performers. Copay for medication cost is horrible this year and high considering we are a health company (very disappointing).

    Advice to Management

Many top talent are leaving. Invest in our people, more training and opportunity for growth to keep morale high.

    Pros

The company has great benefits with great yearly bonus and restricted stock options. You will work with smart people and know that the products you are helping to produce have a beneficial impact and quality of life of patients.

    Cons

Increase focus on higher efficiency while continuing to downsize results in a complete lack of work life balance.

    Pros

Great benefits with bonus and stock. People are friendly. Lots of on campus amenities - gym, dry cleaner, car wash.

    Cons

Salary is hard to match when you leave. Too many changes to frequently. Won't let something go for a while to see if it is working or not. Trying to do too much with too few. A contractor does think about the organization the same way a full time employee does.
