    not to bad

    Sales Representative (Current Employee)

Prosfast paced work environment that presents new challenges everyday. Semi flexible hours

Consmicro managed, working with walmart management is a night mare they seem to hate vendors on site. The stock room is a joke and no one wants to help you. ex we are not allowed to climb on a ladder yet our product is often on high shelves. we are not allowed to use pallet jacks yet no one hastime to do it for us. and at times there is not enough hours given to finish projects properly

Advice to Senior Managementstop worrying so much about your bonus and start allowing part time help more hours in order to do things right instead of forcing us to half way do things

    Not For Everyone

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsFor a retail job, it's a pretty set schedule. You are pretty much your own boss, with no one breathing down your neck or constantly micromanaging you. As long as you are getting the job done, the management pretty much leaves you alone.

ConsThe pay for the area is ridiculous. It's enough for me, but compared to similar positions, it's nothing. You sometimes have to deal with store employees who don't like you being in their store. There are no yearly raises.

Advice to Senior ManagementCome up with incentives for the associates. We need yearly raises, not just 'when you feel like it' raises.

Great if you do not need much money and bored.

    Retail Media Merchandiser (Former Employee)
    Murfreesboro, TN

ProsThe hours are good, generally in the mornings. You hopefully will get a good leader/manager above you like I had and things will run smooth. A background working in stores such as Wal-Mart s a plus because you will know what the company expects of you already . This is great job for Stay at Home, retired or just simply bored people who work hard and are self driven that have previous experience in major retail stores. It is a wonderful job over all just not enough hours offered to pay the bills.

ConsNot to many hours are available, you work maybe 15 or up to 20 if your lucky, and the pay is just okay nothing great. You would waste all your money you earn on benefits if you need that. And you rely on the stores you work in to keep up with merchandise and it can become "lost" because they do not know how to store items and merchandise critical to your job. You work in WalMart stores and you have to dodge customers because they think you work for WalMArt and can become quite rude when you say you do not work there. Good Luck!! :)

Advice to Senior ManagementGet equipment to employees quicker and give more hours to part timers to take the load off full timers who are completely overwhelmed!!

Good company to work for but we need bonuses.

    Territory Sales Lead (Current Employee)
    Richmond, VA

ProsWe get weekends off while working in the retail business. If you do your job you see your D. M. once every three months. Office culture is great because your office is the road.

ConsI miss the commission and hope to see bonuses soon.
