I have been working at Anheuser-Busch full-time
Pros – - Anheuser-Busch InBev has a great portfolio of brands and a strong pipeline of innovation.
- The company is a leader in an exciting industry.
- The company provides good benefits and excellent perks that you don't find in other industries.
- Anheuser-Busch InBev provides a lot of opportunity for career growth if you put in the effort and are open to change.
Cons – The culture is changing for the better, but there are always growing pains with change.
Advice to Senior Management – Management has an impressive track record, so I would suggest keeping up the great work.

I worked at Anheuser-Busch
Pros – Top customer service, atmosphere was like family. Further education was encouraged and allowed while at work. Many perks such as: free luncheons, merchandise give aways, rewards for good suggestions that saved company money or improved on safety and freedom to get jobs done without breathing down our backs.
Cons – Some people were allowed to be slackers. Raises were up to individual dept. managers, so of course pets received top dollar while others were possibly short changed. Office workers had to wear business casual but were sometimes sent to warehouse to work in heels and nice clothing. Was told to keep extra outfit to change into at desk.
Advice to Senior Management – It is no longer Anheuser. We were told that they were approached about an offer for a buy out and that they had no intention of selling that it was absolutely nothing to worry about...... a year later they sold us out. They just didn't want their work force quitting on them. They had it planned from the beginning. It was just a matter of it all falling into place.

I worked at Anheuser-Busch
Pros – The people who work at Anheuser-Busch are some of the most talented and well rounded people i have meet in my professional career.
The company has a great office environment and has several in office activities to keep the work week short and enjoyable.
Cons – Union workers abound on the manufacturing floor and there is a bit of divide between hourly and salary employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Integrate the hourly employees with the salary employees and the overall atmosphere of the plant would be greatly improved

Pros – Excellent Pay
Great opportunities, especially for college students and gradutes
Great interning opprtunities for students
Good Benefits
Structured work environment
Great co-workers and good teamwork.
Cooperative management
Cons – The only downside is the InBev takeover. InBev's corporate structure and management style is night and day tcompared to the family environment the Busch's created. Management is now very ridgid.

I have been working at Anheuser-Busch
Pros – In my group I am respected, listened to, and allowed to explore new ideas. The flex time and work-from-home programs are a boon for work/life management. A-B has an outstanding benefits package, especially vacation accrual. 401k match is also very good, as are health insurance costs. The people I work with are truly professional and very good at what they do. Recently the dress code has even changed to include allowing jeans on any day.
Cons – Things have changed over the past 8 years since I started working there, for the better, IMHO. It used to be that upper management wanted sycophants, and that mentality trickled down, and you were punished for objecting to bad ideas sometimes. But since August IV and Castellano stepped in, there has been a great sweeping out of the old guard and now they "embrace mavericks," or so they say. There is still occasionally rigid encouragement to tow a bad line, but those occasions have become more and more infrequent as time goes on.
Advice to Senior Management – Protect your investment in us, and we will protect our investment in you.

I have been working at Anheuser-Busch
Pros – Since drama surrounding the merger has died down, AB has truly become a place you can come and thrive if you're high energy and ready to work hard.
Cons – Some people like to compare everything to the "old way" of doing things, which often gets in the way of moving forward. This should go away as more retire and additional new hires come on board.
