    Advice to Management

If you're in Management you basically have to give up your life. Especially Sales Leads, too much work not enough pay

    Pros

Really great employee discount and rewards if your store does well in sales and credit cards. Flexible hours are a plus.

    Cons

It got boring at times due to slow traffic in the store. Not a lot of responsibilty, just take care of customers. You don't really get to do sets unless you are a stores lead.

    Advice to Management

Keep treating your employees well and everything will continue to be great. Try and help the regular sales associates with a variety of responsibilities.

    Pros

Employee discounts, awesome coworkers, and customers are nice for the most part. Could also make for a great second job.

    Cons

Rate of pay is undesirable, sales associates do not get recognized properly for a job well done, no extra incentives for sales associates (except for referrals), people get promoted after only working for less than 60 days over people who were there for years (and still don't really know what to do) due to biased decisions, and corporate does not seem to recognize the problems in the store for their district. Not something that you would want as a primary job, but you would have to put in a lot of time to do so.

    Advice to Management

Treat your associates better if the job is being done right, offer some constructive criticism if improvement is needed in the area, some other benefits would be nice as well (10% bonus for each card opened for example), and approach people who are interested in getting promoted that has experience with the company and already knows the policies. Also, if this is the associate's primary job, I would suggest that they get the desired amount (or close to) hours that they are looking for. Since we have a lot of students who are full time in school, I would suggest to be respectful of their studies and not ask for them to pick up extra shifts just to make sure that they are keeping their grades up.

    Pros

I work with a great staff.

    Cons

The company itself has gone downhill with constant sales and over complicated rewards program.

    Advice to Management

It's up to corporate to change the way the company is headed and how it presents its clothing.

    Pros

If you have the right management staff, it is a great environment to learn and grow in the world of retail. Perfect place to begin learning about visuals. Pay is decent and nice employee discount.

    Cons

Often do promo changes in the morning before store opens. Hours are based on ability to sell LLR and sometimes customers are crappy and rude.
