    Pros

We work with geniuses - in every department, We create innovative products that thrill our customers and create new product categories - who else can say that?

    Cons

ZERO ZERO ZERO work/life balance. Execs have been saying for YEARS that they understand and will make it better. But in actuality, it gets worse every year! It is obviously top management LIP SERVICE because if they meant it, they could fix it tomorrow. They have hundreds of BILLIONS in the bank. If they REALLY cared about employee work/life balance, they could bring aboard the right number of folks to make that issue dissolve. Sick of hearing the lies. Just don't lie about wanting to fix it, when they clearly DON'T care

Sent an iMac for work. Worked from home. Good pay.

    Cons

Crazy hours. I was usually working 50+ hours a week. Over time every week was nice though.

    Pros

Good work-life balance. Management cares about you. Company cares about personal development.

    Cons

Work can get very tedious. They try to create a "stimulating work environment," and for a retail job it is. But for people that have higher aspirations, it can wear on you.

    Advice to Management

Create more work experiences that will allow for more cross divisional movement because it's near impossible to move from a retail position to a skilled technical position in corporate offices.

    Pros

Good culture, benefits, work/life balance, workplace environment

    Cons

Hard to progress, don't get a lot of help if trying to move from retail to corporate

    Advice to Management

Put yourself in the employees shoes more often, empower them more

    Pros

For the most part I found the Project Management team and my colleagues friendly and easy to work with. I learned a lot about Apple OS and I Phone functionality.

    Cons

Although I was at l was at least 20+ years older than some of them, I did feel a little isolated at times but eventually found two Indian gentlemen about the same age as I and we "hung around" together. I knew eventually a lay off was coming, however the Project Manager was suppose to notify me via email, in person or phone call (at least that was my understanding). I called the "Agency" and was told I had 2 days left. Wow!

    Advice to Management

Listen to the advice of your "older" contractors and by all means do not feel intimidated by them.

    Pros

great environment, awesome culture, great benefits, flexible hours, good discount through other companies.

    Cons

easily replaceable, over worked, under valued, not much for growth or promotion. can be clique-y, lots of gossip. very focused on the customer experience what about the internal employee experience. silly attendance rules and regulations.

    Advice to Management

be more invested in your employees. give more feedback, recognition, incentives. be open to new ideas, think about the bigger picture and not quick results.

    Pros

Innovative, inclusive, great benefits, working with the cutting edge technology. Competitive pay. Structured development and training.

    Cons

If you're an advisor on the phone your time is not your own. They don't really trust you. It's a call center, so you clock in and clock out, very strict attendance adherence.

    Pros

Standards are very easy to get along with; they care more about fixing problems than assigning blame. Huge plus in my book.

    Cons

Be careful of having Apple asking you to do too much. I've see contractors do things way outside their contracted scopes. For a tech company, I'm surprised at the lack of technology to improve processes or to reach out to sister warehouses for process improvement. Lack of documentation at critical points was surprising. Extremely competitive job market internally. Some employees lack initiative. "We're too big to fail" mentality seems to have creeped in.

    Advice to Management

Drop the importance of profits on any one specific warehouse, do things for the good of the company and your stated values. Stick to Jobs' philosophy towards designing amazing products and drop the variations that's killing opportunities to be efficient.

    Pros

Working with talented, motivated people that are passionate about helping people

    Cons

If you're interested in moving up, it's a slow process that involves switching stores and putting in the hours. Even then it's not a guarantee

    Advice to Management

    Focus on individual employee development
