I have been working at Apple full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You get to work on products that impact the real world , a chance to make a difference. Everyone from an intern to manager does meaningful work. The hours are hectic but the work is interesting and demands long hours.
Free food after 5 for engineers is always a great benefit!
The compensation is better than average (especially since it's an RF position). With overtime pay, you can make well above the base.

    Cons

Work life balance takes a toll on you. So much so that when it's perfectly normal to leave by 5 in other companies , here you get the stares!
Due to the flat management structure , I see a lot of managers burdened And in turn this leads to a block in communication between teams/managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more and spread out responsibilities instead of piling on and functioning in small groups like start ups.

I worked at Apple full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

So much training, great company values, good benefits, very flexible when you need time off

    Cons

It's difficult to grow within the retail side of things. Once you reach a point, its very hard to get past it if you've grown as much as you can in a retail environment.

I have been working at Apple full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The thing that I like best is the people I work with and the fact that my opinion counts. It's faced paced and no day is ever the same. The benefits are some of the best I have ever received from a company.

    Cons

I have worked a lot of retail and I can't say I have any complaints. It can be a little stressful at times but hey, it's retail.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the opportunities coming for personal development and advancement from within.

I have been working at Apple part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    •Up-beat environment.
    •Friendly/knowledgeable management.
    •Employee discounts.
    •Compassionate co-workers.
•Random small perks, like free apps and such.
•Working for the leader in smartphone and tablet notoriety.

    Cons

•Always busy (especially weeks leading up to holidays).
    •Angry, misunderstood customers.
•All eyes/ears on you...do not feed any information to a customer without checking and double-checking that information first!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the great work, but please try to be more understanding about requesting time off. Should not have to send a request 3 weeks before the fact. :(
