    Advice to Management

you should place the employees that get laid off from one project to the next

I have been working at AppleOne full-time

    Pros

They are happy and positive in saying they can find you work and are super supportive about that

    Cons

They don't find you temp work, they don't call you back, and then make excuses why they cant find you work...

    Advice to Management

Get people that have the drive to help you find work, and not just collect a paycheck.

    Pros

I'm not sure. Still thinking...no nothing comes to mind. Sorry.

    Cons

No solid training programs, everything including technology is outdated. Sink or Swim mentality. Very cliquish among staff, basically people who don't matter in the office talk behind your back. This is not a company you want to work for if you are seeking a long term career or growth of any kind. I regret working for this company- haven't learned anything new.

    Advice to Management

    Actually manage your employees growth

    Pros

It was a job Some of the people are lifelong friends A lot of training A lot of locations

    Cons

They never have anything positive to say about your work Unrealistic expectations Poor Management Not responsive, even with internal employees Management talks down to people in front of the whole office Childish and inappropriate conversations in the work place Fast turn over

    Advice to Management

Focus more on the positives and what people are good at then the negatives. Listen to feedback that people have. Stop talking behind peoples back and talking down to people in the office. Respect is earned, not expected.

    Pros

They have connections to great companies. (If they choose to use them properly.) The assignments they DO present you for are with quality companies

    Cons

They are not generous with feedback. You almost have to bug them to receive any. They do NOT advocate for their associates at all and if you are unable to complete an assignment and let them know it in a timely manner, there IS no recovery from that. I realize that nobody is without challenges, but they are NOT very helpful in finding opportunities that fit your background, nor are they proactive about contacting you about them. Following up with them is a necessity if you expect to find any kind of employment through this agency.

    Advice to Management

For the Illinois sector, especially Chicago, you might want to consider hiring people who know what it is like to be without work for a protracted period of time. I believe they would better serve your associates because they would know what it is like to need to work.

    Pros

Nice but VERY PUSHY recruiters. A weekly paycheck that is if they get it right and there are no mistakes

    Cons

Disorganized staff, false promises, paycheck mistakes, recruiters don't listen to their people they just put you in any job that they want and don't consider your skill set at all, trying to get someone to call you back is a challenge. You can tell it is a numbers game and that is what you are when working with AppleOne. High turnover on recruiters too. I will not be recommending this company to a friend at all.

    Advice to Management

Think everyone needs to be fired and they start fresh. About six years or so ago this company was good to work with not so much.
