I worked at AppleOne full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It could be rewarding to develop your portfolio if you were given enough time to learn the job.

    Cons

No opportunity to develop their employees. Very high turnaround due to multiple metrics / quotas that must be reached on a weekly basis in order to keep your job for another week. Additionally, multiple employers in this region are very inauspicious toward AppleOne aside from some major accounts. Many local accounts in which a new staffing consultants up to senior account executives are responsible for developing hang up on you as soon as you say the company's name.

You are scheduled for a full month's worth of training, but my office was so far behind that I had no opportunity to do proper training because the pressure was on to have 15-20 interviews per week, plus 25-50 connects, 10 send outs, and more.

If you meet your quotas for the week, you will not have to work on the weekend. If you don't, you better be ready for the next week (if you still have a job).

I have been working at AppleOne full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great schedule, very nice office setting, and I was given plenty of resources to succeed in my position. Above average commission program. I was lucky to have an excellent manager as well.

    Cons

Very metric driven, high turnover, and a sometimes vicious and paranoid culture. Account executives get overly protective of candidates instead of focusing on finding people work. It is not uncommon for co-workers and partner branches to not get along. Low base salary and the benefits are expensive considering the size and scope of the company. Management above the branch level was nearly invisible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management could spend more time showing concern for the work environment instead of just sales. Sales is king at AppleOne.

    Pros

This is a deffinte sink or swim situation. If you excel in this type of situation this is the place for you. They will continuously challenge you to do more and excel.

    Cons

There tends to be a ton of office drama and politics. The trainers are great but have limited resources and are stretched very thing despite all their management gives.

    I worked at AppleOne full-time

    Pros

This company is good if you get a location that can put aside the BS and actually perform. If you focus and sell sell sell, the reward $$$ will be good. Orlando office is great, other FL locations beware.

    Cons

Inflexible schedule, sales focused (even if hired in "recruitment" focused position), too many politics, unintelligent leadership. Terrible vacation policy.

I worked at AppleOne as a contractor

    Pros

When you do get an assignment you are paid weekly.

    Cons

I was contacted by AppleOne for a short term position in 2013. I completed that position and was given a great recommendation from the company. Several weeks went by with no contact even though I updated my availability. I called my advisor for protocol after seeing a couple of temp to hire positions online I was interested in and she said to go through their office. After requesting they submit my application for those positions (different locations) I never got a response back. I sent an email with no response so I called and was told "I'll look into it and get back with you" and they never did.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'm sure you are busy but don't leave people hanging. It only takes a minute to send an email.
