I have been working at AppleOne full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Highly professional company and they have been able to continue my assignment long term.

    Cons

I wish I had some benefits such as paid holidays and paid time off after working for the company for almost two years.

    Pros

ok, no promotion just more money if you make more sales.

    Cons

your only worth your weekly sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

appreciate your sales staff and get them more help recruiting for orders instead of doing management reports.

I have been working at AppleOne as a contractor (more than 8 years)

    Pros

It's great to work with this type of recruiter, because they know where all the jobs are. I couldn't possibly reach out to as many contacts on my own.

    Cons

Assignments are presented whether they exist or not. Meaning-you may waste half a day and your best suit on an empty promise. In addition, temp-to-hire usually means "temp"

I worked at AppleOne full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Very professional, they paid regularly and the company itself is solid.

    Cons

Quick turn over of recruiters behind the desk and it seemed like they didn't have time to train them very well. The woman I got assigned to didn't seem to know what to do with my skill set, but on the up side, I ended up getting a great full-time temp position on a fluke. The downside was that after that contract ran out I didn't get offered anything else, even though I got rave reviews from the place I worked.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train recruiters to look beyond resumes and ask good questions to learn more about the potential valuable staff member sitting in the chair in front of them. Value mature workers with experience.

    Pros

Great learning environment for someone without staffing experience. Training is free and constant.

    Cons

Low salaries, high sales quota expectations that may be unrealistic for someone without 500 people on their Facebook page.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase salary, lower quotas and improve technical infrastructure.

    Pros

They find you a really good job and they are there on the first day of employment if you have any questions or any concerns.

    Cons

There are no perks. When your assignment has ended you won't hear from them again. I has applied for numerous jobs under this company and never get a response.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep in touch with clients that work under you company so people feel that you care or concerned.

    Pros

Very good pay. Great hours. Great place to learn about the staffing industry.

    Cons

Takes 6 months before you can start using vacation days or time off.
For someone who had no true staffing experience, training was on a "need-to-know" basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep an active role in each office. Make training a central point.
