    Pros

The company focuses mainly on R&D, so it is a perfect place for tech savvy people who are interested in the semiconductor industry. You can expect a good work-life balance from the company just like many other Silicon valley companies

    Cons

The industry is cyclic, so an employee will experience the up and down swings of the industry.

    Pros

Benefits are good. Colleagues are great. Can't complain about the weather here.

    Cons

Promotion hard to come by. Product development teams work a lot. More R&D being incorporated but slow integration.

    Pros

Very motivating environment, intelligent people, cutting edge-technology. Very competitive salary and benefits, very great chances for personal improvement and evaluation.

    Cons

Days could get long and stressful. As with all large companies a lot of bureaucracy is involved, could take a while for decisions or turnover. Project management and project staff should work better in maintaining project workflow.

    Pros

It's fast paced, dynamic, challenging and highly educational.

    Cons

Frequent hiring freezes limit employee internal mobility

    Advice to Management

Fix your recruiting system. Don't post jobs that are frozen. Add job descriptions that actually describe the technology.

    Pros

Best job I've ever had. I only work 50 hr /wk. Way better than Google, Apple, or LAM. But not Samsung. My friend works at Samsung, and he gets bigger bonuses

    Cons

CEO Mike Splinter is a joke. Been there way too long. Salaries seem lower than other companies. If you have a bad boss, you're job will suck anywhere

    Advice to Management

Pay more to keep your top talent
