    Pros

decent pay and benefits (except high deductibles good dental ) no real pay raise unless you think 1% is good

    Cons

You are just a number in productivity. LAYOFFS LAYOFFS LAYOFFS no one is safe. They laid off seasoned employees and managers and hired from the outside or people from different department who have no history doing their current jobs. They have no clue what they are doing. its a revolving door.

    Pros

working for the health of the community

    Cons

management always changing, no continuity in policy, insuffienct training, no raises, corporate restructuring - on going for last 4 years, creates confusion and no reporting structures.

I have been working at Apria Healthcare

    Pros

Something to add to my resume

    Cons

I was lied to when I first started I was told id be repaid for my CDL. 2.5 years later not a dime was repaid upper level management is constantly making changes that hurt the company going above and beyond gets you no where I'm this company I have found out the hard way after 2.5 years never had an unhappy patient always early for work I've even helped when they fired a driver covered Saturday shifts to help out and In my time I've gotten 1% raise which is pretty insulting I missed out on a lot of my children's lives because of this company I can't do anything out side work because I never know how screwed I'm going to get everyday at my branch I give a lot of credit to the management they fight for us and what is best but typically no one listens honestly save your time and stress keep moving on

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start listening to the front lines we know what's good for the company on a different level YOU OBVIOUSLY DONT

Former Employee - Respiratory Therapist in Phoenix, AZ

I worked at Apria Healthcare full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

nationwide if you would like to travel. Rank and file employees are willing to extend a hand to each other when needed.

    Cons

Understaffed, no balance of work and family time. Unless customer are receiving the core products ( PAP Therapy, Oxygen, Enteral ) they are treated as 2nd class customers. More diversity in management positions.
Apria appears to be adhering to equal opportunity laws because surnames may suggest a minority is occupying that position, but in reality the person holding the position is Caucasian .
Heath benefits are high deductible, so many employees are very stressed

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Diversity training should be mandatory for management. Would like to see more minorities in management position.
