    Pretty good job but not a good company to work for.

    ProsFreedom to set your own schedule.

    ConsNo raises in 2014 company wide. Benefits are not very good. Commission is scaled based on % to quota and full commission payout is virtually impossible to reach.

    ConsHigh-deductible health plans (the company blames Obama).

    good pay and great learning experience but that is about it

    ProsGood pay. Benefits are good too. Enjoyed working with peers. Management was good but always sometimes could not help orders that was handed down to them.

    ConsOverworked. Expected to do more than one can handle. Not enough employees so it was hard to get off a week for vacation.

    A great learning experience

    ProsThey allowed me to work from home when I needed to. The work hours were pretty flexible. My coworkers were very helpful. The employees really cared about their work and the customers.

    ConsCompany seems to be adjusting to the changing health care environment and as a result may not have as many openings as they get their strategy in place. They have changed direction a few times in the past few years.

    $2Bn company that feels like a mom and pop (not in a good way)

    Product Manager (Current Employee) Lake Forest, CA

    ProsMy direct supervisor was very flexible on work hours and tried to get me new opportunities
    Not a lot of travel

    ConsFew new opportunities to be had
    Blackstone-owned, so expenses are very tight
    Operations runs the place (no emphasis on product, customer service, marketing, etc)
    Tons of leadership change

    Advice to Senior ManagementBlackstone needs to settle on a decent leadership team and let them run things
