    ProsThe people we work with in our building are great as far as our cube mates and peers. Its a fast pasted moving enviornment where there is alot of work to keep you busy and help the time go by. Its a rewarding job that leaves you feeling like you really made a difference at the end of the day when you go home. It pays relatively well when compared to other jobs I have had in the past.

    ConsTraining could be stronger and more relivant to 'real life' once you come out of training. The changes are never ending, however, that comes naturally when working in an ever changing, developing, and growing healthcare industry.

    Advice to Senior Management-Listen More Openly
    -Think about how changes are going to impact workflow
    -Ask yourself what you can do to stop turnover
    -Spend time developing stronger leaders that already know the company vs. hiring from outside companies that do not know the business or work that is being done.

    Delivery Technician

    ProsTraining was thorough, which is important, because there was ALOT to learn. You have to memorize the entire warehouse, so that by the 3rd week of work you can start pulling your own orders, and working on the weekends when everyone else is off. Which brings me to my next point, 120 day probation, very lenient on making mistakes, and willing to train.

    ConsPhysically demanding doesn't even begin to cover it, you will be lifting and carrying things the entire day. If you are lucky you will only have 1-2 hospital beds in a days work. But there are some days where they just overload you down and you might have as much as 5-6. They are exhausting and take about an hour a piece to put together/set up or take down. The work involved with the beds is not too bad during most other times of the year, but if there is weather, it is truly brutal. Rain or extreme heat makes it a hellish part of the job.

    Advice to Senior ManagementThere's not much management can do about the issue of beds being a complete overburden. Like I said be thankful if you get a small order of them in a day, because otherwise the job is very enjoyable.

    ConsYou don't know when you're going to get off. You don't go home until your route is completed. And on call can be a drag

    ProsGood salary range, opportunities for advancement, worked with a lot of great people.

    ConsInadequate resources such as staffing and equipment needed to be successful. Lack of connection to management at times-did not understand the program and what was needed. Negative reinforcement, atmosphere of fear. Changing directions mid stream.
