    Pros

Nice coworkers, half off for food, comfortable environment, easy to get the hang of, not as labor intensive.

    Cons

Long hours on the feet, dealing with obnoxious customers, some of the managers and workers really didn't care to be there and it showed.

I have been working at Arby's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The free meal every now and then and nice, I have also met some nice people whom I work with that make up for some of the awful managers I have had. Minimum wage so you have to have a lot of hours to make living wage.

    Cons

It's a pretty stressful place during lunch and dinner rushes, people are rude that come in there and have no respect for people just trying to make a living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice to have managers not tell me how to hand out cups and people telling me i have to do every little thing their way is a little sickening

    Pros

My Coworkers are awesome, we have loyal customers, and then there is the fries. Most of my Managers are fun and easy to get along with.

    Cons

Sometimes you get no break, lots of standing around in the down time, only make 7.25. Every now and then too busy for the amount of staff.

I have been working at Arby's full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

If you have a good store, with good people, it isn't bad. As far as fast food goes - Arbys has good corperate structure.

    Cons

High school drama, and don't expect to get promoted without forcing the idea in peoples faces. If you don't go in and tell them that they need to train you on something, it won't happen. There are also reviews every six months and the raises attached are very easily manipulated and often it comes down to favoritism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

General managers are focused only on getting food-cost and other bonuses, and shift managers, who get no such bonuses, are expected to do way more work than the pay calls for. I've seen two shift managers willingly drop back down to team members because it isn't worth the small pay increase.

I have been working at Arby's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Pros you get to work with some amazing employees, and sometimes meet some very nice people

    Cons

Arbys policies change to much. They do not have incentives for managers or crew. Its far and between when a crew worker gets a raise when they clearly explain that after each modular that they pass they can get a .25 cent raise after 4. This rarely happens and the managers have no bonus or pay raises, well at least the one I work for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your crew like you would want to be treated also work as a team with your follow managers. To many times everyone in management is on different pages. Have fun, play fair, dream big, make a difference, work hard, some of your philosophies lets really strive to do such and not have these words just be words.

I worked at Arby's part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The team was great. Definatly the best place in town to work as far as fast food goes. Very flexible with the schedule at my location. Hired very high quality employees at my location. Good incentives to work hard such as contests, bonuses, etc at my location.

    Cons

    Lower pay that some competitors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Perks at my location were good. TMTP training was a little simple but definatly a step in the right direction. Menu changes too often and it makes it difficult on stores to prepare for the day.
