Current Employee – been working at Argus Information & Advisory Services
Pros – I am relatively new to this company but it is such a great environment. There is a lot of opportunity to work with senior managers and learn a lot. The people are super smart and come from the top schools. There is a lot of emphasis placed on working on interesting projects and I know that I will learn more here than if I go to a larger firm. Already, I have received exposure to all of our major products and studies. If I went to a larger firm, I would have some of these projects but here I can work on many interesting things.
I have received training and mentoring. I also know that there are a lot of nice perks here which I know my friends do not receive at other firms. Free drinks whenever I want like snapple and sodas, free tea and coffee, weekly breakfasts, company outings, happy hours, and really great benefits.
My pay is very competitive. I also know that there have been a lot of recent work to continue to improve the work environment.
We work hard but people are reasonable here and give me a lot of room to grow and develop.
Cons – Hard work and long hours but not as long as many of my friends at other firms.
Advice to Senior Management – I like the changes that I have seen even in the short amount of time here at Argus. Management seems very interested in making changes to benefit all employees.
