    Excellent at the beginning BUT?

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsPeople you work with directly, pay was decent, usually got requested time off (except for certain busy periods)

ConsManagement is horrible now. Like mentioned before, a rudderless titanic and all ship bosses are clueless. Scared to make a decision for fear of reprisal. Good ole boy mgt. workers are burning out from stress.

Advice to Senior ManagementRemember what you preached, it starts from the top. Fire yourselves you incompetent baboons. You have no problem blaming others and firing them but your incompetence goes unchallenged out of fear of reprisal.

Upper Management needs to wake up!!!

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Las Vegas, NV

ProsGood pay and benefits about average for Las Vegas.

ConsUpper management likes to talk the talk but NO EXECUTION!!!! The directive comes from AU and the USA is the dumping ground for incompetent Upper Management that is very Chauvinistic. If you try to change things and management does not like you, find a another job because they will fire you!!

Advice to Senior ManagementYou are riding the boat and not helping the company succeed. Either start join in and become a leader or the company is DOOMED.

    Management

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Las Vegas, NV

ProsGood team of workers, people want to do a good job, good pay, and good benefits. There is talent in the company at the mid-level and line level.

ConsThe biggest problem that ATI has is with Sr. Management. They place incompetent people into Sr. roles. AU uses the US as a dumping ground for poor leaders and talk a good game when it comes to change but never follow through with any good initiatives. I guess it just costs to much to be good. They want only cool-aid drinkers and no one that will challenge poor choices the company makes.

Advice to Senior ManagementStep back and see what your poor choices are doing to the company.

    Dont fall in this trap

Quality Engineer (Former Employee) Noida (India)

ProsGood pay packets, good work life balance !
company paid trips to various places like Jim Corbett

    ConsLots of them
If you are in QA beware. One/two of your team mates will be leaving the organisation every month, and one will be fired. That's how the Maths Works.
Employees are on a race to see who leaves this organisation first.
company has a hire and fire culture and you never know one bad morning you will be called at 7 am for an urgent meeting and shown the door.
If you have a friend in here, seriously do talk to him/her before joining.
I've seen all my friends leave in the past 3 months.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot sure if there is any point in sticking to a Head of Certain Department and letting all the other employees in that department go. Pull up your socks, think upon why is the attrition rate so high.

Never Join this Company - Hire and Fire Company

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Noida (India)

    Pros30 Leaves in a Year.
    Noida Location.

ConsWork Life Balance is not good. they will ask you come on weekend and will not give any comp off also.
People are getting fired every month without any reason. 4 Leads were fired 2 month back. 2 developers are fired this month also. Indian management is puppet of US management. they dont have any say. US people fires indian developers to save their jobs. their is no job security. they will ask you to resign forcefully or they will put you on PIP for 1 month. after that they will fire you.
US People does not want to hire people in India having more than 6 Year of exp. so that they can save their jobs.
Company is not doing good Financially.
Lot of Politics. Senior Technical Guys are doing very bad politics to save their Jobs.
I am sure these reviews are written by HR people only as they dont have any work
their is no HR in the company. HR is controlled by management.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop Firing People other wise you will spoil your name in Noida and People will not join this company

Worst company to work with in India (AIDC)

    (Current Employee) Noida (India)

ProsA flashing salary when you accept the offer.
Good colleagues(peers). But everyone is scared of their tomorrow with company.
Very frequently parties and team outing. But you never know you would be there in tomorrow's party or not.

ConsYou name about worst and you would find it there.
    0) Its tough to survive here without politics doesn't matter how hard/smart you work for your job.
    1) No work life balance though it has flexible work timings.
    2) No HR in action at all. All for the sake of keeping and HR department they are there. Yeah they comes in action when they have to inform that you are fired.
    3) Minimal Appraisal or no appraisal for you :)
    4) Lots of ambiguities in company and management policies. You can clearly make out that the company still separate Indian employees with US and Australia.
    5) You career might to come to an end with Aristocrat with just a dislike of an Individual from US or Australia.
    6) Firing people at Noida center is decided in 5 mins. So, you reached office thinking about your work and you are not being allowed to enter into the office not even to collect your stuff.
    7) How many times you would see a firing in a span of 4 years working with any company. I have seen 10 occasions. And thats too people in group fired at a go.
    8) I have heard many people being fired because their salary was high. Just have a question to the company were they sleeping when they offered the employee initially. By the way I am not sure about this that after firing company never gives any reason.

Its a long list. Just a suggestion to any new joinee, If you know anyone who has worked or working with Aristocrat, Do talk to him before making your decision to work with Aristocrat.

After all its a life time decision for anyone to decide to join a new company. Though its a 5 mins call for Aristocrat to fire anyone doesnt matter how long that person is working with Aristocrat, Noida.

They work on a very clear cut agenda. HIRE and FIRE.

Advice to Senior ManagementThey should immediately stop distinguishing between Indian employees and rest(US and Aus)
Ask Indian management to stop firing otherwise they would survive in market for very long with good quality of people working with them.

Not a place for C/C++ developer to be in

Senior Software Engineer (Former Employee) Noida (India)

ProsExcellent work life balance with lots of fun

ConsWork quality too bad for C/C++ developers.
Be there only if you want to degrade your technical skills

Advice to Senior ManagementLevel of engineers hired should match quality of work

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
