    Good place to start if you want to work in sales.

    Advice to Senior ManagementProvide better pay. The wear and tear your car will take is worth more than employees receive. Other than that, great internship.

    It was a great experience and I definitely learned a lot, but it is a lot of work to do for such little pay

    If you put in the work, you will love it

    ProsHard work pays off, this is definitetley not an easy internship but it is what you make of it

    Everyone is very supportive

    Very demanding, hardwork, not financially rewarding

    ProsSales training is worth everything, it is one of the best things you will ever do.
    Hires within, and promotes from within
    Very good resume experience
    Mainly independent work hours

    ConsNot financially rewarding
    Success can very much depend on where you live, best if in college town
    Long hours
    Many unpaid for outside expenses (lunches and gas)

    Emotionally and physically draining

    Outside Sales Representative (Current Employee) Washington, DC

    ProsFun training week in NC and you get to work in a team of interns throughout the summer. If you like sales, this will help you for future jobs

    ConsBe prepared to be outside all day on sales calls
    No office
    Getting customers to buy from you is almost impossible, depending on your territory
    Unrealistic sales goal, problems with previous clients making renewals a pain
    You get a stipend which comes down to less than 4 dollars an hour
