    Pros

Coworkers are nice. Cheap flights. Tasks are not hard once you get used to it. When in need of help usually other stations are willing to help long as they are not busy.

    Cons

I honestly dont see a future here. I have had customers yell or curse at me. Upper mangers dont really care about you (or at least here) The pay is pretty cheap.. Even if you work overtime they dont pay. American holidays dont count in paycheck because its a Korean company BUT korean holidays dont count because its located in American soil... kinda cheap. Only holidays that count is Christmas and New Years.

    Advice to Management

Working here isnt bad but can you raise our salary.. or at least give OT when we do work OT. Listen to us when we see a problem and dont ignore it and later make us clean up after you. And stop acting like you know what you are talking about when you really dont. It makes us even more baffled and we have to call other stations to verify just because you believe you are always correct.

    Pros

    Cons

Limited opportunities for advancement. Salary. Management does not value employees, they are used to high rate of turnovers.

I worked at Asiana Airlines as an intern

    Pros

A very good training system and mentorship. Female friendly work environment.

    Cons

    Not enough opportunity for growth.

    Advice to Management

They hire some talented people but I don't think they utilize those people's skills and talents.

    Pros

Fast track for learning. OJT employee training ideals. Dynamic environment

    Cons

Dramatic environment Mgmt is distant -- Conservative Korean business styles / ethics.

    Advice to Management

If you're from Korea, don't attempt to run it like you guys do in ICN. If you're from elsewhere, good luck with upward mobility.

    Pros

I had a chance to work with the most amazing and hard-working people I've ever met.

    Cons

Asiana is no exception from rigid organisational structure found in other big Korean conglomerates and downsides coming from such. Plus, I was really surprised by how many aspects of its daily operations are managed in very primitive ways.

    Advice to Management

Try to understand your business better and stay ahead of other competitors. Simply copying what Korean Air is doing probably won't help in the long run.

    Pros

In the Passenger's department, pressure of business is not very keen compared to other Korean conglomerates. Easy to fly all over the world with very cheap ticket whenever you are free.

    Cons

Incapable executives and leaders against capable employee. so employee after all become those incapable executives and leaders which is cycle. Compensation is not competitive. Easy to be affected by the international situation, exchange rate, Oil prices etc so business is not stable.

    Advice to Management

It seems you guys are not very hierarch like others but still you are. Change the mind and try to be innovative.
