I worked at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – If you can put up with the BS you can gain additional skills and possibly get promoted.
Cons – IT has high turnover. At least 75% turnover in the last 2 years. A lot of knowledge has left the company. IT management promotes a noisy and hostile atmosphere and has had 95% turnover in the last 2 years. IT management/CEO won't spend the necessary $ to make crucial hardware/software upgrades to improve infrastructure. The head of IT is a "techie" with minimal people skills. The CEO seems to have a hidden agenda. He will appear to be open, upfront and geniune and then pull the rug out from underneath you. The new head of IT's arrival is an excellent example of this. IT pay is much lower than other comparable companies.
Advice to Senior Management – To the board, realize there has been tremendous turnover in the different areas of your company. Find out the real reasons why and act on them. Replace the CEO and head of IT.

I worked at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – There are many people who take their jobs seriously here. They are unsung heroes who have kept the company above the water for years amid incompetent senior management team
Cons – Very bad senior management team, especially the guy who runs IT.
Do not go there unless you have nowhere to go
Advice to Senior Management – You need a better IT team to fulfill your vision if there is ever a vision.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
