Not bad if you can adapt to change...EVERYDAY

Collections Representative (Current Employee) Warren, MI

ProsThe hourly plus bonus far surpasses any other collections company. However Encode Capital takes over the company in June and the uncapped bonus will most likely go away. The benefits are good too.

ConsLack of communication ...we could do with a lot less management. They can't even communicate with each other let alone their staff. It's pretty bad when I have new hires ask me what each one does.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep the director of collections, keep one assistant manager, and 6 supervisors. This will significantly reduce our overhead, and limit all of the hostility and confusion.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Account Representative

Account Representative (Current Employee) Sterling Heights, MI

ProsUncapped bonuses, respectful work environment, lighted garage parking, convient location near 696 fwy. Wellness health screening day.

ConsVery high turnover rate, hourly wage is low with collection goals that are difficult to reach and maintain. Bonuses are only paid if your able to make your monthly goals. Idea job for those who are just in a desperate need for one. Definitely not the place to make a stable career unless your promoted beyond collections. Rotating schedule makes it difficult to balance family and work life or even further your education.

Advice to Senior ManagementReseach the policies that you have in place for performance, goals, compensation, training, work schedules and make the necessary adjustments that will benefit both the employees and company as a whole.

I have never worked in such an unfriendly and unrewarding company in my 25 years of working.

    Supervisor (Former Employee) Warren, MI

ProsTime off is generous. The building is clean and nice looking. The offer a parking structure for winter months. They provide wellness fairs and EAP.

ConsBack stabbing unfriendly work environment. Departments do not communicate. No matter how good a job you do, you are just a number. The left hand does know what the right hand is doing..

Advice to Senior ManagementRion Needs should take a look at his VP's and Directors. He might want to spend some time with the little people as well.

It is a job, not a place to start a career.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsEasy job to get, decent hours

ConsHard to meet quotas, favoritism and lots of cheating.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more fair, and compensate the good employees not the one you like.
