I have been working at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

There are some good people that you will work with, it's a good place to get your foot in the door and learn skills to take elsewhere. The top 5% get an all expense paid vacation every year.

    Cons

Nothing ever gets 100% completed. The company has dozens of huge initiatives that are tied to bonuses. These projects get rushed and are never implemented properly for the sake of people meeting bonus deadlines.
Promotion from within is rare and there is high turnover at many levels. Information necessary to complete your job is only given to you on a "need to know" basis.
You're in the dark until it's determined that you need to know. Then you scramble to find the answers you need to fulfill what's requested of you.
The Yearly trip has the same people on it every year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The company is on a current upswing, but that can't last when you use people up and cast them aside.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Good place to learn and develop your analytical skils. Real nice team atmosphere within the Analytics teams.

    Cons

The pay is less than what others are offering for the same job duties. Also, there is no room for growth; you're pretty much stuck doing the position that you were hired for. No cross exchange of job duties between analysts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to promote from within first; also allow analysts to see what other analysts are doing.

I have been working at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time

    Pros

The benefits are decent and they take care of their employees with things like wellness festivals, tuition reimbursement and president's club vacations.

    Cons

Most departments are extremely goal oriented and will let you go very quickly after not achieving goal.
