    Pros

Their is money to be made.

    Cons

    Presenteeism culture.
    Employee turnover is exceptionally high.
    Poor management, v.aggressive.
Unwilling to engage with staff. One way of working. Adopt that, or get out.
Recent merger has caused a once succesful company to lose what made it so great.

    Pros

In the compliance team you will learn a lot about the financial industry and working in a fast paced environment

    Cons

This company lacks on how to motivate and speak to staff. When it comes to reviews they dont listen to you but decide on the basis what they have heard from other people who are childish and immature. there is lack of professionalism and blatant favoritism. graduates stay away as they do not appreciate how much work you put in and feel threatened on the qualifications you have

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

definitely be more supportive to staff and graduates. you employ intelligent people with degrees. unfortunately there is no support and careers progress for them.

I worked at Aston Carter full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good potential to earn.
They let you sleep for 6 hours a day, (but the rest you're expected at work)
Good banter before management stamp it out.

    Cons

    Hours are ridiculous
Management are inconsistent and make things up as they go.
Made to feel guilty for taking holiday and preferably not take it.
Trying to turn business into a factory with every minute accounted for and standardised, so free thinking not needed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People perform better when they don't have someone standing over them every second asking what they are doing.
KPI's are not the most important thing in the universe
Good billers don’t necessarily make good managers.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
