    Pros

I have worked for many years at AZ. They are trying to improve the culture. The technology is cutting edge. we have a strong pipeline

    Cons

i am in my 3rd year in a row of not getting a decent bonus because the goal setting and compensation plan is terrible There are not many opportunities for development.

    Advice to Management

Try to create environment of trust and that you value your employees. Review the compensation plan. I understand a forced rank, zero sum game saves you money, but there are certain market conditions, geographies, and managed care conditions that make it very demotivating to know that you are not only fighting against your goal, but against the nation. You can scratch and claw to get to 101% to plan with a lofty goal and if the nation makes it to 101.5% you will get paid at less than 100%. If you just opened up the plan, people would sell more.

    Pros

Great sales training from the start

    Cons

Training is highly regulated and every six months

    Advice to Management

Need to value experience more. See recent downsizing largely based on age. Loyalty appears to be an issue in top 10

    Pros

Pay and benefits are difficult to match. The facility is beautiful and kept very clean. Cafeteria on site has delicious food at a very low price.

    Cons

3-3-2 schedule is terrible. The plant management seems to be not in touch with the realities of the production floor. The managers in charge of production are rememants from startup and are not able to manage operations. The agency they use to hire is terrible.

    Advice to Management

Current employee of the West Chester site. Inventory the skills of all employees vs the positions they are in. Develop a real technical training program for operators and technicians. The current duty based training is a joke and is costing your company a lot of money. There are also a lot of delays created by lack of support. The DCP product I imagine is very important to the bottom line. Hire more people to close the gap in coverage. Performance incentive bonuses have resulted in an environment where people are afraid to make a mistake due to prior mismanagement of a mistake. Then the support engineers showing up to the facility drunk is disgusting. The talent on the floor are world class. Survey your employees. Get more training and promote people willing to get the job done. Change the bonus schedule. Maybe quarterly or get rid of it and increase pay.

We would here about work/life programs, but it was never practiced. It really depended who your were reporting to.

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. Always a new set of challenges awaiting you at the next turn.

    Cons

Frequent reorganizations and reductions. Questionable long-term stability. If you don't like what you are doing, don't worry, you won't be doing it for too long.

    Advice to Management

If you change strategy, be sure to give yourself and the company enough time to finish implementing change before you abandon it and more onto the next strategy.
