I have been working at Australia and New Zealand Banking full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast growing bank. Clear focus in Asia Pacific.

    Cons

Complicated internal staff process, too much bureaucracy for staff working in Asia.
Lack of understanding to volatile Asia countries - that face high inflation and quick talent move / poaching.
Therefore the internal policy regarding staff has to be flexible in that respect and give more authority for country management team to make decision.

    Pros

    Awesome offices in docklands.
Access to good equipment that worked sometimes.
Their 'hot desking' experiment was a failure.
Some people are too over worked
Pay is well above industry averages.

    Cons

On boarding of new employees just didn't work.
Getting support for any problems more hassle than it was worth, employees lived with problems.
Too many contractors that don't have the long term investment in the company.
Some people are too under worked.
Many people are well over paid for what they do.
    No management engagement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Review what people do and what they are paid for the work. Don't trust managers to do the review of their staff though.
