    Pros

Health Benefits, flexible when going to school.

    Cons

Never know when your getting a raise. You have to beg to get one. If your going to school and get your degree, don't expect a promotion. I know 5 people that left the company after getting there degrees. I'm next.

    Advice to Management

    Promote your employees.

    Pros

The pay wasnt too bad. I made alot of friends.

    Cons

Overworked their employees like no other. They treated alot of them like dirt. the breaks were short and so was lunch. everything was all messed up.

    Advice to Management

the management that I had wasnt very good at all, but im sure theres much better out there. my advice would be to listen to your employees more and have a little consideration.

    Pros

Job security, cleaninness of the shop, equipment

    Cons

Too many politics, i was hired by a third company, reviews (90 days) where done by someone who wasn't even in the shop. I could never discuse a salary adjustment with my supervisor or even a manager.

    Advice to Management

Cut the middle man on the reviews, salary discussion has to be done by direct supervisor or direct supervisor has to be present at the time of review and able to know the pay rate of employees.

    Pros

Friendly people, A lot of room to explore, experiment. and learn. As long as you get your job done, everyone is happy.

    Cons

Not much mentor ship. Mostly on your own to learn. Although they are picking up on that.

    Pros

    - Gain experience with embedded systems - Respectful environment - Engineers are willing to help you out

    Cons

    - Internship was slow to start; they get you materials after you arrive, and don't prepare them beforehand - Sometimes projects seem to lack direction - Sometimes assigned with busywork- not ideal for an engineering internship - Some work did not require an engineering degree to handle

    Advice to Management

Take time to organize what you want from your interns, prepare objectives and tools required beforehand

    Pros

-Not very stressful environment -The managers are nice -Cafeteria on top floor -Profit sharing for employees

    Cons

    - Company wants to hire through temp agencies as contractors (no benefits), and keep you waiting for a perm position for a LONG time, even though the temp agency promises 6 months at the beginning. - Technology isn't evolving very fast - Salaries are not very high - Lots of meetings - A bit disorganized. People get pulled from project to project, always saying it's crisis mode, all hands on board. You never really get deep into your work.

    Pros

They have good benefits and the holiday shut down is nice when you get almost two weeks off during Christmas.

    Cons

No corporate structure (atleast where I was). Managment starts to panic easily. The other engineers and managment were condescending and critical at times when it was unnecessary.

    Advice to Management

Take a deep breath and take some management 101 classes.
