Current Employee – been working at Autonomy
Pros – Phenomenal technology, Diverse service offerings, HP owned, Great whitepapers, collateral, marketing brochures. Products and Services Relevant now with product offerings. Heavily focused and successful in delivering Cloud Solutions.
Cons – Metrics Based in a big way, rigid systems that do not provide good workflow for a field rep. No real account ownership outside of certain divisions, Tech Support could be improved, Company being integrated into HP and this creates apprehension for some.

Current Employee – been working at Autonomy
Pros – Generous vacation is offered. Allows for a relaxed work-lifestyle given that your work schedule can be flexible. Exposure to other product offerings and possible career changes. Employees with a proactive attitude can thrive here. Good stock options or restricted stock units rewarded. Good bonus plan.
Cons – An ambiguous company structure from an employee career growth perspective. No annual salary increases. Additional compensation based on qualitative milestones. Employee review or assessments are not well structured or non-existent in some cases. Impersonal culture.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide career paths or options for employees. More clarity to the review process for employee performance assessment and its translation to compensation.

Current Employee – been working at Autonomy
Pros – It has some good technologies and smart peoples. It also pays good after merger with other small companies.
Cons – benefits are not good. the company is pretty stringent on everything, from pc, laptop and other stuff. Low benefit matches.
Advice to Senior Management – please offer good benefit packages, good 401k matches. Put more energy on research and development, not only on sales.

Current Employee – been working at Autonomy
Pros – There are some very smart people working here. Autonomy has interesting core technology and a good story behind it. It continues to grow and is constantly moving.
Cons – Autonomy has been swallowing up companies. It doesn't make the best decisions about how to use those resources. Decisions are often made from the top. There is no management structure so communication about important changes are often through the rumor mill.
