    Pros

The Commission as a rental associate is uncapped, some room for advancement.

The management of the location which I worked at is new so they drop the ball on certain things and some of the senior co-workers are not professional at work.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group

    Pros

Avis Budget Group is business and family oriented company!

    Cons

The starting wages would do a great deal for the employees if they were a couple of dollars more.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You completely capture the quality of an employee and assess them based on a numbers system.

    Pros

Great job for retirees who want no stress income. I look at the job as an exercise program that I get paid for.

    Cons

Schedules so far are never the same. It is very hard to plan when you never know when you are going to be called.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Post job schedules online as soon as available. I have found management to be very responsive.

I have been working at Avis Budget Group full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Opportunities, and for the most, good people.

    Cons

Low pay, The attempt to FORCE employees to stay after working their scheduled shift, It's almost like threatening their vey job security when just trying to do their best. It's almost like good job means nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Enforcement of attendance rules as well as proper treatment of good commited employees. Keeping good people should be important verses treating them like they are just like the rest of the bunch and making sure there are no personal agendas towards any employee just because one might not like them for whatever the issue is.
