I worked at BE Aerospace as an intern for more than a year

Pros – They treat interns like business-critical employees and give them decision-making power. You can define your own projects and really feel like you're making a difference.

Cons – The company is a bit old school. Some older technology, lots of paperwork, and the people aren't really young, entrepreneurial types.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep up with the good intern work.

Pros – When I began working for B/E just a few short months ago, I couldn’t help but notice the high level of talent, focus, and commitment each and every employee has at this organization. I have been with some very large companies in the past, and B/E is by far the best example of people working together for one common goal; to be the best of the best in our industry. Talented people make a great company succeed, and B/E proudly displays this ever so important element. I am grateful and proud to be a part of this outstanding, world-class organization.

Cons – If you're looking for a great company with great benefits, look no further than B/E Aerospace. You'll be glad you did.

Cons – Work life balance needs to be considered just as much as hitting the quarterly numbers.

Advice to Senior Management – Promote more from within and show those who have helped the company grow that their contributions to the company are valued beyond just a paycheck and kudos.

Pros – * B/E Aerospace is a company with many opportunities for those willing to work towards that end.
* B/E is a place where you are allowed to work and share ideas with your co-workers/team.
* B/E is a company that you can feel valued when you put in the effort to make a difference.
* There are great people working there and you can be part of a solution.
* Very solid work/life balance
* Many people put in the time to make a solution happen.
* B/E is not a place for employees whom just go through the motions - you are allowed the opportunity to make a difference.

I enjoy working with many different divisions in my role and I continue to support them employment searches nationally.

Cons – B/E could do better with it's performance/salary review policy. Currently, it is annual and employee contributions occasionally may get overlooked unless the employee provides records that document highlights of the employee's contributions. Consider biannual reviews...

Advice to Senior Management – Take time to be touch with your teams.
Understand who you have reporting to you will make a positive difference.
Be honest, keep your commitments and the right things will happen.
Be aware that your employees and potential employees are your most valuable assets and treat them like it.
