I worked at BMW as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

A lot of room for personal growth, as long as you try hard enough. Benefit is among the industry best (as far as I know).

    Cons

Internal network is essential to get things done, so sometimes it can be frustrating that you are not using your time working on the most important thing, but using time internal networking to make documents and stuff get passed quicker. Huge work load. Clear hierarchy.

I worked at BMW as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

the pay was great as well as the insurance.. and it was also nice getting raises

    Cons

I put in almost 5 years as a contractor and never got hired on and right after coming back from being on workman's comp I got fired.. So do not take workman's comp if you want to keep your job..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take more consideration into another time, if you feel that the person is qualified enough to still be working at the company for 5 years then they should be qualified to become a permanent BMW ASSOCIATE
