Former Employee – worked at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing as an intern for less than a year
Pros – Great 4-week training program. Learn a ton as an intern. You feel like an employee rather than an intern. You get to work on projects that actually add value and are a great help for the employees.
Cons – Some of the work can be very dry. Time periods of no work at all.

Current Employee – been working at BNY Mellon Asset Servicing as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – There are several opportunities for growth. They do monitor and promote often. Very professional environment.
Cons – I was there during the merger. There was a problem with getting new equipment that was needed to perform my duties efficiently. I never received it, and clients grew angry, and as usual, took it out on the customer service reps. They were more concerned with the merger than their clients and employees at that time. Still I shouldn't have left. Even today, they are willing to take me back, if I relocate back to area.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen.
