I have been working at Baidu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Most of people I met are very nice and intelligent. Most of them are hard working to do the things at their best and to improve their skills. They hired some world famous or national famous star like Andrew NG. Hope they do better and better.

    Cons

You have to do work which may cost you more than 8 hours for normal people here. When pressed for time, you have to work overtime, which is maybe the normal state for some group.
They have a separate promotion system for developers, product managers and UEs. To be honest, I think there are some problems in the system.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Baidu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Best salary compared with related companies in China. Good training programs. Flexible work hours. Workmates are polite and respect each other.

    Cons

Since the company is so big, product iteration run very slow, every idea needs to be reviewed a lot and decisions are hard to made. Unless you are in a core product team, it's hard to be promoted. Workmates are smart enough but lack of passion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers need to be more serious with engineers' personal interests, there should be more easily and friendly ways for them to change their positions based on their own wills.
