    Pros

The company deployed a number of marketing strategies. It was a great opportunity to be involved in so many disciplines. There was some great talent and I learned a lot.

    Cons

There were rumors of buyouts and the recession took its toll. The company was downsized several times. As a result, work-life balance was a challenge. There was little employee development and no performance evaluation system.

    Pros

    Cons

Poor technology. Poor benefits. Corporate office very disorganized. Upper management does not care at all about the employees. Every week someone was threatened with losing their job. Complete lack of communication other verbally threatening people in public settings. 14 hour days

I disliked the internal politics of late payment to vendors. Many projects were stopped due to non-payment!

    Pros

I don't remember too many good things. My 'office' was in a data room, my boss was racist (glad I matched her skin tone!)

    Cons

See above. Difficult to do business with vendors because of non-payment. Difficult to work with Senior Management bent on milking customers on contracts.

    Advice to Management

I think they got their advice when they were told to file Chapter 9.

    Pros

They were a Microsoft .NET shop from top to bottom, and they maintained an MSDN subscription.

    Cons

Everything else. The company is hurting financially and had already been through two bankruptcies.

    Pros

Bally Total Fitness in general have a fun atmosphere, great co-workers, and you meet a lot of great members. It is a great place to get customer service, sales, and phone experience.

    Cons

In general managers only care about membership sales. Customers are often disgruntled due to false promises and often have to call the corporate offices to get the correct information.

    Advice to Management

Focus on customer service and ancillary services. I feel their sustainability depends on more than how many memberships are sold in a month.
