    Pros

    One of the best salaries and benefit packages of the market.

    Cons

    - Political environment focused on internal competition instead or creating value for the company;
    - Too hierarchical; you see one director at maybe every 3 months and with very little opportunity to interact with them; lower positions have no power to take any kind of decisions.
    - Feels like working in the public sector instead of a private company;

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Retire and let new blood take over.

    One of the best salaries on the market;

    Ridiculously bureaucratic;
    Incompetent Executives;
    Lots of unqualified employees that are kept due to union;
    Strongly subjective meritocracy;

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    While the same executives stays in control, the bank will still be ridiculous. The only thing that saves you in the fact that is a very protected market. Let's just hope that this doesn't change in near future, for your sake...

    Good salary
    Enough benefits
    Good workplace
    Nice coworkers
    Proper training
    I enjoyed work in Itau while the company was on its own, after the merge with Unibanco things got strange.

    Cons

    Too much politics
    No right direction
    Hard work doesn't mean recognition, politics yes.
    The company went from a doer company to a show off company. No one cares if you deliver or not, only if you sell properly to your bosses and to the board.

    You are loosing all the good workers, change directions soon... otherwise you will maintain only the lame workers.

    several training
    a lot of entry level positions
    present in several cities
    well known company

    basically if you are leving college Itaú could be one of your choices.
    At bank engineers are the most common group of undergratuades.
    the company have several programs in order to boost your academic profile. for instance MBA programs which covers all expenses for two years.

    Cons

    no quality of life what so ever
    management lacks communication skills
    decision making process is based sole on CEO

    Usually all performance reviews are based on relationship instead of pure performance achieviments
    promotions only occurs if you know someone at board or director level.

    Grow UP !
