    Pros

Fast paced environment. Multi-tasking is a must.

    Cons

Angry customers who want their fees to be waived.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't pressure your employees to sell. Don't make them sell anything, teach them in a way that they will want to sell, not be forced to. Show them the value and pride everyone must have for working for such a great company. Customers can always tell when your trying to sell them something. Instead, they have to feel like your really willing to help them and their accounts.

    Pros

Great benefits. My managers have given me the chance of a good work/life balance.

    Cons

Can sometimes be difficult to cross train and take courses in order to advance your career. Simply because most areas tend to be very busy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give your teams more of a chance to go outside their respective areas to learn new things at the bank.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good salary, better than other places in Tampa. Good benefits; dental, vision, etc... They work with you as far as in schedules. Good atmosphere, great people to work with, no clicks.

    Cons

Sick days given (6), but if you use them you will be fired no joke! Doesn't matter how good of an employee you are, they don't care. No cell phones allowed. If they hear it vibrating in your desk, they will walk you out (fire you). Calls come in right after the other, non-stop. They do not allow pausing between calls. It can really drain you mentally. Only 1/2 hr lunch.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should really consider who you let go, take a good look at how they are performing. You don't retain good employees, you're quick to let them go. Be human. You want us to live by certain standards, then be the example.
