    Pros

competitive compensation and benefits plus paternity leave

    Cons

Overburdened workload, uncompetitive deposit and lending rates, a thankless job, not even enough in budget to purchase deposit slips and receipts for the customers. There is a constant requirement to report productions so much so that it gets in the way of actually producing. We do call nights now because everyone wants to leave the company because of some idiot's idea to have only one teller in the line. Senior management doesn't have there finger in the pulse when it comes to the daily business of the branch.

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation for your employees, give them a forum to express ideas and complaints.

    Pros

Good benefits, and good salary. Nice building.

    Cons

They will micromanage everyone, even the top performers. They aren't selective when hiring people, I was surrounded by uneducated, loud, unwashed people, and management are the most incompetent people I've encountered in my life.

    Advice to Management

Get an education before you can manage people. Leave your religion, politics and prejudices at home.

    Pros

Benefits including matching 401k plans, tuition reimbursement. Good health insurance

    Cons

Committing fraud by forcing employers to cheat to keep a job. Giving out prizes without counting how much work was done.

    Advice to Management

Find another job. This bank will destroy you and those around you

  7. At first it was a wonderful place to work, but after a year or so, it became sturdy and stale.

    Pros

Good benefits package. They have a fitness center downstairs that is free to all BOA employees

    Cons

People are stuck up and stuffy and they will over work their employees

    Advice to Management

Stop acting like you're better than everyone else just because you have a MANAGER title.....CLEARLY a title that SOME OF YOU.......DO NOT NEED AT ALL.

    Pros

    Working for BOA is great!!!!!

    Cons

Working with people like Matt Johnson and his boss Mike who are racist. They are using Keyshauna, an Africa America lady to fire all her management team that are black and she is too stupid to see it or she doesn't care. They are slickly moving people with high pay out the door

    Advice to Management

Get rid of that who ATL corporate team starting with Mike , Matt Johnson

    Pros

Benefits were good. That is about it.

    Cons

Environment is very depressing. I worked in ATM Debit Fraud Claim (FCI) and hated every minute of it. Worked a total of four years at this bank and three of that being in Fraud. I worked as a Teller inside the banking center the other year. Teller work was O.K. not as depressing as Fraud. The management in fraud is the worst and they destroy everyone's morale. Calls are back to back all day every day. You get counted off when you use the bathroom. It is ran like a high school basically. They prefer you ask to use the bathroom. One department does not speak to the other and basically all you do is get yelled at and cussed out all day every day from the terrible customers.

    Advice to Management

Completely re-do the entire management team and put people in their that actually care.

  10. Worst company. Not at all what I expected, but then again, being a former mortgage customer, I should have known.

    Pros

I can only speak for the contact center in Kennesaw and I can't think of any benefits of working there.

    Cons

I saw in the news feeds today that Bank of America is ranked no. 5 of the top most hated companies. Having worked there, I can see why. They do not care about the customers. I can't tell you how many calls I received in a day customers complaining about how they are treated when they call in to make payments, activate their cards or even just to simply find out what their balances were. Bank of America considers it sales, customers consider it harassment. I left because I felt their practices were unethical.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your customers. Start immediately utilizing and adhering to the feedback from COMMIT. Also, be more attentive and aware of the people you put in management positions and the reasons for it.

    Pros

    They have great benefits!!

    Cons

You do not have an opportunity to grow with the company. You have to work there for over 5 years before you can even get a promotion. The fees that they charge their customers are outrageous!
